There aren't too many books on this.
While there are elements that belong in any funeral, there is no exact template to follow. Some family and friends don't want music played during the service. Others are comforted with three to four songs that were favorites of their loved one. Maybe one favorite scripture of the loved one will do just fine. Others want several scriptures read! Some families prefer to have as many people share a memory as possible. Others would rather not take that chance.
